2024 is here.
What are your thoughts about the new year? Do you make any resolutions? Do you have any plans for 2024?
To tell you the truth, 2023 was good to me health wise. I had no major sickness. I think the reason for that, is my ketogenic lifestyle.
Unfortunately, not everybody was as lucky as me. I heard about many passings and my friends and family being sick. So of course I tried to help them and thankfully some of them took my advice and felt better shortly.
Now as I always say, I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist. So I just speak from my experiences.
Let's go through some reminders.
Here are the most important things I like to suggest you to be on the ketogenic diet:
Eat according to your daily schedule.
Intermittent fasting is not necessary but sometimes suggested.
Don't fast if you feeling sick!
Eat more full meals (nutritious food) and skip the junk/snacking if you can.
Prioritize protein in every meal first! At least 30 g/meal.
Keep your net carbs as low as possible!
Don't forget to add some healthy fat to each meal!
Read the nutrition facts on the packages if you are buying a new product!
Not every "Keto" labeled item is real keto. They may contain "not keto" ingredients.
Stop weighing yourself every day!
Exercise daily if you can!
Sleep minimum of 7-8 hours a day! (Adults)
Take electrolytes every day!
Also take vitamins if needed!
