I know, probably many of you have sweet tooth and cravings daily for desserts. Let me help you with that.
On the keto diet it is allowed to have sweets. However you need to learn the way to create or buy them from you local bakery or grocery store. If you just started your keto or low carb journey, unfortunately it's not suggested to eat sweets until you adapted to fat, approximately the first month. When you get to that stage, called ketosis, you will no longer have some cravings, your body will burn fat for fuel and will increase your energy level.
You always need to check for ingredients and it's always better if it's made with higher healthy fat.
Acceptable ingredients in sweets:
Almond flour, coconut flour, flax seed meal, chia flour, pshyllium husk, pork rind dust
Coconut oil, grass fed butter, olive oil, animal fats, ghee, avocados, full fat yogurt, cheese
Stevia, monk fruit, erythritol
Eggs
Spices
