How much weight you lost?
50 lbs (23 kg)
Do you want to loose more?
Yes, about 20 lbs (8 kg), but I am happy where I am.
Is it hard to keep up keto?
Not at all.
Do you have craving?
Not really. Anything I want to eat, I just make it keto version. Replacing the ingredients.
How long you want to continue?
I chose this as a lifestyle. So probably forever.
Isn't keto harming your liver or kidney?
No. But make sure you consume enough protein. Do it right!
Do you suggest Omad? One meal a day?
I eat multiply times a day, but I've seen tremendous success with Omad. You may give it a try. Start for a few days and see how long you can continue.
How much carbs you can eat a day?
Some people count net carbs, which is usually 20 g a day and others count total carbs, what can be 50-60/day. Carnivore guys eat normally 0 or very few.
Do you count calories?
I don't, but if you are using apps to track your food intake, it will do it for you.
How much time to loose 30-40 lbs for me? Random persons ask me that.
It is really up to your body, and how strict you follow the ketogenic diet. It could take a few month, but even a year. If you have a lot of fat to loose, you might loose it faster. If you choose non standard keto, you will loose slower, but it will be much easier to maintain in a long term.
When I started, my goal was to loose 65 lbs. I lost 40 in 1 year, not doing very strict keto.
Did you stall and what to do?
Yes, of course. I stalled a few times too. There is a few things you can try.
Add more fat to your meals.
Have a cheat day. Eat carbs like pasta or rice.
Change your meals.
Try intermittent fasting.
Stop eating 3-4 hours before bed.
Did you struggle with constipation?
Yes. I used to "overdose" myself with MCT oil with C8. 2 tablespoons in a half glass of water after lunch or dinner. Be careful with this one! You need to stay home for hours. Do not repeat every day!
You can also try other stool softeners.
You may try changing your meal times as well.
Do you take supplements?
Yes.
Electrolytes is a must.
Beside that I'm taking a lot of different vitamins. I prefer that way, not the multi version.
I take Collagen with biotin, Vitamin C, D, Q1-Q10, Trace elements, Ginko biloba, Green algeas, Curcuma and Magnesium.
You can choose your own "cocktail". Remember, from the vitamins you can not overdo it. Your body will discard the excess.
Do you need to work out?
In one way or another, like every diet, you should. It can be walking daily, swimming or lifting weight is been proven the best exercise on the ketogenic diet. Any light or hard work out will help you feel better, loose weight, sleep better and gives you clarity.
