My take from Ben Azadi's presentation


Today I had such a pleasure to attend Ben Azadi's presentation online. He's 4 times best selling author, keynote speaker and founder of Keto Kamp.

I've been following him for years, attending his talks whenever I can and taking a lot of useful informations.


He had a lot of great points on the ketogenic diet and how to get your health back on track.



Some of them are:


Body gets messages from hormones, nutrition, minerals and oxygen.

600 hormones in the body and only 8 of them are to burn fat.


Body should self heal.


Inflammation is the cause of weight gain.


You have a weight symptom, not a weight problem.



Myth:

Weight loss is just about eating less and exercise more.

Once you have type 2 diabetes, you can only manage it.


Facts:

Only 12% American adults are metabolically healthy.



Things to remember

-Support liver proper bile production is key.

-Add bitters like ginger root/tea, dandelion greens/tea, artichokes, organic coffee, lemons/limes, radishes, radicchio, cranberries, basil, thyme, rosemary, cilantro, parsley and apple cider vinegar.

-Eat the right fats like olive oil, avocado oil, grass fed butter or ghee, duck fat, lard, coconut oil and beef tallow.

-Do not chase ketones!

-Do not stay in ketosis for a long time!



Goals:

Understand why you are not well.

To know how is keto done the right way.

Health.

In my personal opinion, it is always suggested to attend presentations about health, whether online or live events. There is so many more things to know about the ketogenic and/or any healthier lifestyle, or just to open our eyes about the world we live in. So please do yourself a favor and learn about them if you get a chance!
